The Oriel Window, Haddon Hall is contained within the elevation of this major historic stately home. In his early days a young Arthur Hammond spent as much time as he could at Haddon Hall. He would paint scenes within the grounds, the exterior of the building and the interior. He would often sit alongside other artists working there to gain from their experience. The masonry features of the building are well executed, and colour is added from the flowers and foliage.
